EZ-IO sterile needle sets are comprised of a safety cap, a stylet and a catheter.
Each needle set comes complete with an E2-connect and a limb band. Three sizes of EZ-IO sterile needles are available:
VI-9018 EZ-IO PD (patients 3-39 kg) pink hub
VI-9001 EZ-IO AD (patients 40kg & greater) blue hub
VI-9079 EZ-IO LD (for patients with excessive tissue) yellow hub.
All needle sets are provided sterile, non-pyrogenic and in protective packaging. The needle sets are for use with the Vidacare EZ-IO Intraosseous lithium battery powered driver or the G3 driver. They can be purchased either singly or in packets of 5.
